I have a new to me truck!

I have sold my 2005 ram 3500 truck and now have a 2013 2500 Ram 4x4 - with leveled front end.

I have now used truck camper yet - want to set it up to handle my Lance 830.

If anyone has a setup similar I would greatly appreciate the help. I am thinking of not using airbags to get the truck leveled out - looking at super springs, sumo springs, stable loads - any suggestions - all manufactures claim their product is best.

I have always ran Helwig over loaders with good results.
I'd load the TC up and check the ride before doing anything.
You can then adjust the suspension as needed.

I would load it up and see what happens also.

Our campers were 11.5 and most likely heavier than yours, but my solution was overload springs.

Thank you for the replies! Anyone have any luck with Timbren Springs. the are a bit cheaper than Hellwig [which seem to be the industry standard]

There are certain things that I will budget shop for and others that I won't.
Suspension, brakes and engine parts fall into the "I won't" category.
As you say " Hellwig seems to be the industry standard"....
Timbren may make a great product. I wouldn't know.
If there warrantee is as good as Hellwig the only other thing I'd check is customer feedback.
I just checked . The Timbren are a bump stop system ( non adjustable ) and run about $279.95 per set. AT Leaf Springs, Helper Springs and Suspension Parts | SD Truck Springs

The Hellwig Load pro 25 helper springs are $302.75 and are adjustable. At Truck Suspension, Bilstein Shocks, Firestone Air Bags, Timbren, Leaf Springs - TruckSpring.com

I'd spend the extra cash.
