For starters you can sign up to put it on the classified portion of this website. We have sold several RV's and cars through local newpaper ads. The trick is to have the RV clean and ready to show and have it priced reasobably for the market in your area.
We would print a nice 1 page flier with a picture of the RV and listed all of the standard as well as all of the add on items to give to lookers.
If you have a serious looker do not pressure them. Have the RV where you can plug it in and let them sit in it for an hour if they want, without your presence. Gives them a chance to look and also fall in love with it.
A word of caution on selling is watch for the scam artist. You will without a doubt get some one wanting to send you a "cashiers" check for more than you are asking and ask you to give the difference in cash to the fellow he sends to pick up our RV. By the time your bank comes back that the check is a phony, you cash and the RV are long gone. I'd get the buyer to make a bank to bank transfer to your bank and not release the RV until it is confirmed you have the money.
You just cannot trust anyone these days.
