I know an older gentleman that has a 2000 Palamino 1500.

Spec's

9.5'
a/c, 13,000 btu
heat 18,00 btu
inside shower and stool
6 gal hot water heater
water pump
3 cu' fridge with freezer

I'll admit I know nothing about camper's. His bottom dollar is $4,000. It seem's to be very clean inside and out. The one big thing that concern's me is 3 out of 4 corner's where the canvas conects to the body are gooped up with sylicone. And the other one is coming apart and need's repaired. Is this a common problem with these thing's. Is it no big deal, or should I run away from this thing.

I tried getting him down on the price, but he won't budge. He actually started at $4,500. I told him I only had $3,000, and he said I could pay him off on the rest. I don't know that I would really take him up on that part of the deal, but it would be nice to be able to have that extra cash to get set up.

I guess I'll save the rest of the question's until I find out if the corner's are a problem or not, and if that's a good price. Thank's for any input.

Does not sound to bad, if it is in excellent shape and clean. I just bought a new 2005 (left over) Palamino 1251 for 8500.00, OTD, with air and tie downs. Has the same equipment, and leaving for our first trip with it this week to PA.

Guess my only concern would be the three corners.

I'm not familiar with that brand camper, but I do know where you can get used camper pricing. Check out the NADA guide at:
http://www.nadaguides.com
This is the online version of the same NADA guide that used car dealers use.
