Lance customer support

Hello,

We have decided a Lance would fit our needs. But every time we visit a dealer the campers all have loose screws, split wood, doors that won't open/close, electrical that doesn't work, etc. (Is there no quality control at the end of the assembly line?). Then we read the blogs that suggest once the sale is complete the dealer/factory customer doesn't measure up.

Do you have any experience to tell about these concerns?

Thanks, Phil and Nancy

My Lance TC is over 10 years old with no big issues.

Just bought a Lance tc model 1172, this unit was a demo 2013. It came with a one year factory warranty, just got back from the first shake down weekend and found some issues.

Went straight to the dealer and they are fixing all problems; furthermore, Lance wants it back at the factory to go through it themselves so that our experience is flawless going forward.

We shall see what happens and I will post the outcome in two weeks.

I have an 14 year old Lance and have't had those problems. Ironicallty I have had most of those problems on my much newer Monaco diesel pusher motorcoach.

Well, I guess it is like automobiles.....was it built on a Friday when everybody wanted to get home ASAP or Monday when everyone had a hangover.

My thinking is....how far away from you is a authorized Lance dealer. I'm reasonably sure they will fix everything you find lacking.

My suggestion is to pick out the camper you want.....bring a RV mobile tech with you and go over this camper bow to stern. Make a list and present to the dealer for a fix before you sign any contract.
