Newby to Truck Campers

So got my new Lance 1062 on the Ram 3500 Crew Dually, and one thing I didn't think about was that the camper would hang out far enough over the cab to where it blocks most of the SiriusXM satellite signals (unless I am facing south). Since I am a big SiriusXM listener this is very disturbing to me - right now I've activated my Pandora option, but that's one more monthly fee if I want no commercials.
Anyone have an idea on what to do to get the SiriusXM signal? This is a factory install unit, as is the antenna - so not a matter of simply remounting like I could if it was the aftermarket antenna.

Also, I notice even with my Fastguns tightened to frame mounts, when I drive down the road and look out and up, I can see the camper overhead moving differently than the truck cab when hitting bumps on the freeways or highways. I assume that's the frame of the truck flexing with the over 4K lbs camper in it, but wonder if others see this too?

Frame flex is pretty normal. If it bothers you, the lance struts really dampen the motion.

I know there are add-on satellite antennas for XM....might look into getting one on top of the camper and wiring down to where you need it.

If you can find an aftermarket antenna for your XM receiver you might be able to get it far enough forward by putting it on the cowl just behind the hood. never tried it, just an idea.

As far as the camper moving, completely normal. they all do that. One thing you have to keep in mind is your trucks cab is rubber mounted to the frame and basically floats to help absorb road noise, bumps, etc so the camper may not be moving as much as you think, you are actually moving with the cab separate from the bed/camper.
