Howdy all, I am new to site and have spent some time browsing the forums. Not to much talk on Slide-In's and more over NorthStar.

Anyway very nice site, appears to be more the "Coach" audience but I like reading about their trials and tribulations also.

My wife and I visited the Northstar factory in Iowa last week. They run a first class operation. Busy too, no slowdown in orders if you build what the folks want.

Hey friends, anyone have (or ever had) a slide-in with a utility body (stahl) on your rig? Pros and cons? Also, are you pulling a trailer too? Or large boat? This is my next set-up. Just want to know your feelings. I'm thinking duramax (dually or not??) (4 w/d??) fulltiming for 5 years or more. Thanks just wanted to get some opinions before i start pulling some triggers. Blessings ya-all

Add me to the small but growing truck camper list...

I just ordered a Northstar Arrow 8.5-U for my RAM 3500 short bed.

It's gonna' be a long Summer waiting for build & delivery.

I ordered a Northstar Arrow-U from Rex in Feb 2017 and took delivery in late August. I was told it would take 6 months to build & deliver and that's what it took.
So now I've had it a little over a year and I have no problems to report.

I haul it with a RAM 3500.
The truck & camper hits the scales at 12,280 pounds ready to camp.

If you like to camp in cold snowy weather you will love the Northstar. It's an excellent cold weather camper.
The Adventurer with its dropped nose and narrow 7 foot width is great on a 4x4 truck for exploring. Street parking is a breeze too.

Please post some pictures here after you get your new camper.
The Adventurer is an outstanding camper.
Regards,
-Jake-
