We need more info to give you informed pros/cons. Type/capacity of truck, weight of pop up.

Cons are lack of bathroom/head, small fridge, small holding tanks, minimal heater, and very limited storage for food, gear, clothing. Think of it as a step up from sleeping on the ground in a tent. Other forums are dedicated to this type of camper and will provide a good deal more relevent information.

The biggest 'con' for me would be the length - at 6'4" tall, it's hard for me to sleep comfortably in a short bed. A buddy is looking for a slide-in camper for his 8' bed Ford F350 Diesel - they are scarce here in north Florida. Stand-up height is hard to find too, for us taller fellows.
