Anyone have experience with Snowriver slide-ins? They seem well designed and layouts work for me but they're difficult to find in the Northeast. Any comments would be appreciated.

Yup, I have the SR 810 and the slide is built very well. Bob (SR CEO) has his own design that runs smooth, controlled, and with lots a power. Anyone ever have issues with one, let him know.

They are looking into establishing a dealer in the Boston area. The camper is made in Penticton BC.(same area as Okanagan, Bigfoot, Northern Lite, Citation) It's a fairly small operation, turning out about 150 units a year. The owner, Bob Mehrer, has been in the RV business for 30 odd years & is responsible for a lot of the designs you see on all campers. In my opinion it is the best made camper on the market. There are many stories about this company, most of them true.

1) The owner drove 1300 miles round trip last summer in person to fix a problem at a campsite

2) They gave someone who bought one as salvage that had been in a fire, a warranty.

This company has incredible customer service. If the warranty has expired, chances are if you take it to the factory, they will fix it.

The slide mechanism is lifetime warranteed anyway & is far superior to any other on the market.

I met the owner last year & we became friends. I even camped in his back yard & I have a competitors camper.

Check out the command seating. This turns the dinette into 2 recliners. Solves the no-couch problem.

The owner is very accessable. You can ask him questions in the Snowriver section of Natcoa Forum

Thanks guys. Look's like the 9'6" is for me. With 900# tongue weight from my trailer even the 9'6" is a bit of a stretch, but it sure is a nice looking camper.
