My 1988 F250 came with two sets of tires and wheels.

Cooper Discover LT 33x12.5R16.5LT; load range D
and
Cooper SRM LT235/85R16 load range E

I will be carrying Sunlite(app. 1500 lbs).

The Discover are on the on the truck now, and without the slide-in are noisy and feel a little "clumsy" on the highway.

The SRM's have a slightly higher load range and a narrower profile.

Any thoughts on which would be most appropriate. I'll be taking the truck and camper from Connecticut to Montana in the next week and once in Montana it will be used mostly on highway and forest service roads (its a fishing rig).

Thanks, Dan

I have the Cooper Discover tires on my truck and I really like them. They are the 235/85r/16 E range tires. My Lance is the 1130 and they really work well with the load.
