I have been working hard updating my list for the last few weeks. I now have a list of 95 TC manufacturers worldwide. I believe this to be the most extensive list of TC links anywhere on the web. TC Companies

Ok, I've been sorely tempted to post this before. It is excellent information gathered by the member of another forum. I have posted it like this on at least one place and others came up with additonal TC manufacturers.

Another good list. Between these two (Beddows and Budster), we should know most if not all truck camper manufacturer,
thanks.

Sorry, Hemi, it's Budster.

There are many TCs over in other continents. I've seen quite a few via my EU contacts and my Oz contact. I'm keeping an eye out there since I intend to go visit and RV in both. Some Aussie ones I have bookmarked, but only those I like. Ones with a lot of fold out and set up I look at, say, no and go on.

In EU the suggestion seems to be rent because of taxes and insurance. In Oz the recommendation is buy (there being a route around the insuring a non-resident) and sell when done. After all there are great distances to drive in Oz and rental rigs have Kilometage charges.

So, yes there are many more TC manufactures, which can be of interst to North Americans.

Actually the list I posted was a joint effort between Budster who is a personal friend of mine, & myself. The list I posted is always the most up-date version. The reason the list he has posted on RV.net is there, is because they won't let us link the other one because it's tied in with the North American Truck Camper Owners Association who they have an issue with. We felt it best to do a public service & post the list there in an abbreviated form (no contact info, etc.)

Paul, please straighten out one thing. I've posted a link to your sight elsewhere and had the comeback "you have to pay a fee". Is this correct?

& the rv.net list does have links.

I don't understand where the pay a fee comes from, can you expound a bit? The rv.net has the links, but we have not listed the country & contact address & numbers there, you have to search the link for them.

Paul, it was a bit ago, so I couldn't trace it. I remember that I had posted two or three sites listing manufacturers and yours and rv.net list were two of them. One of those who replied said the word: 'fee'

If you give me a nice little statement here on this thread, something I can copy & paste into a file on my computer, I would have something to quote if it occurs again. I probably should have pmed you, but I didn't.
