good morning everybody, just wondering what solutions truck/camper owners have devised to level their rig when camped. I have a dual rear wheel truck so I constructed a 3 tier ramp using 2x12's that support both tires and provide up to 4.5" lift. The ramps are large and heavy. So was wondering what other solutions campers have invented. thanks.

For my SRW I just use the Lynx levelers sold at Walmart/Camping world. The interlock to stack up and form to ramp. They are light, very durable, and stack up to stow away easily.

I use a combination of the Lynx Levelers and wood. I'll stack the Lynx and use the wood to make a ramp. The tires sit on the wood. I'm not sure that I like the idea of the tire sitting on the Lynx as it is not a solid surface. There has been a discussion on this on rv.net also.
ymmv,

I built two ramps out of 2 X 8's. They are about 8" high on one end. They work great, but man they are heavy to haul around.
I've been thinking about a re-design to lighten them up some.
Good Luck,
BradW

In 80,000 plus miles with the camper on we may have used the blocks (4 2x10x8 ) that we carry once. The short wheelbase of the truck allows me to find a "level" slot almost every time.
