Treeman;
That is a good one. Thanks for sharing it with us. I have heard from many people like that in my life time and they were not all blond either. It make me shudder to think that they are allowed to vote.

Yes, she does have a nice appearance!
But after 5 minutes, what would you talk about?
Best,
Treeman

I saw this a while back and still wonder what "the iraq" and South America have to do with "US Americans" not being able to locate us on a map.
I have to say that I am blonde and I homeschool my kids. They all (and that includes the 4yo) can locate the US, Canada, China (we have friends there), and Germany (my oldest dd is there) on the world map. dh is leaving for Iraq soon and they will then know where "the Iraq" is too. Although I still want to know if "the iraq" is different than Iraq????
BTW, they also know what planet we live on. I am not sure Miss SC does.

I sure hope her reply was from nervousness. How'd she get to the state level of the pagent if she really is that poor in geography and communication skills? Makes a person wonder.

My daughter said that she had heard a later interview with the poor girl and she was much better spoken. She had said that she just plain and simple had a brain melt down and could not even remember the question that she was answering.

After 5 minutes you could always get educated on maps. She seems to have a good working knowledge.
