A Cup Of Coffee

Husband and his wife were having a argument one morning about who should make the coffee.

The wife says you should do it because you get up first each morning.

The husband says no you are in charge of cooking therefore you should do it.

Wife says no you should because the Bible says so..

Husband says baloney SHOW ME!!!

Wife gets out the Bible and turns to the New Testament and sure enough written across several pages at the top of each page it says.............

"Hebrews"

I used to pass a sign "Hebrews Coffee Ministry"... Often thought about stopping in just to check 'em out.

Like that joke, even if I have not only heard but told it in the past. Still funny.

Now here is how you decide who makes the coffee...

Coffee is served by the current coffee steward.. One of the people at the table says "THIS COFFEE TASTES LIKE BATTERY ACID".. This means that party believes he (or she) can make a better cup of coffee so starting with the next brew.. Guess who the new coffee steward is.

Yup. He who complains about how well the current job holder does it.. Gets the job.

Applies equally well at the office as at home. In the case of both, I've learned to just smile & say GOOD JOB!

I should tell you I first heard this concept (He who complains gets the job) from my Mother,, Seems one of the families we went to church with.. That was the rule of the kitchen/house.

But then I later heard a very very very funny version of it from Utah Phillips.. So, I present for your viewing/listening enjoyment the following You Tube link.
