A fireside chat

A husband and wife were relaxing in front of the fire one evening when this conversation ensued:

Him: If I died, would you get married again?
Her: Oh, no. No one could ever replace you, dear.

Him: I really think you should. You know you're much happier with some company around.
Her: (after a long pause) Okay, I guess I will.

Him: Will you let him use my shop?
Her: Of course. That's why it's there.

Him: Will you let him drive my truck?
Her: Of course. That's why it's there.

Him: Will you let him use my golf clubs?
Her: No. He's left-handed.

To the engineer, the world is a toy box full of sub-optimized and feature-poor toys.
