I frequently answer "I'm doing so wonderfully that nobody else can stand it!" just to hear them stammer.

When asked, I always answer "Wonderful! Peachy! or Perfect! When I wake up every morning and there's no white line around me I know it's going to be a fantastic day".

Fantastic, but I'm getting better!

Woke up above ground again this morning!

A lot better than I deserve!

When I go to a counter in any store and say Hi how are you, invariably someone will say "great" or similar. My response is to say "that's what I hear, everyone is talking about just how great you are"

Usually after a skeptical glance I get a laugh or smile.

One of my replies is " I did not see my name in the paper, either the obits nor the most wanted" so I am doing just fine.
My other one is "for a Saturday, just fine" and people will come back that it is not Saturday. Well being retired, I have 6 Saturdays and a Sunday!
