asking for daughter's hand

Bill, an excellent story teller, said that when his daughter's boyfriend asked for her hand in marriage, he told him to take the one that was always reaching in his pocket for money. True story!

Funny, but very clever. Why didn't I think of that? My two daughters are grown and married, but they had their share of Daddy's money growing up.

I recall going out with my daughter, back when she was very young (Still well into single digit age wise, I'm thinking around 5-7 years old) she put her hands in my pocket.

They teach 'em young they do.
