My Mrs. Told me today that she has no desire to take the drivers seat of our RV.

This was just after our neighbor lady told us about her trip in her boyfriends RV where she drove sleepy (found out why they put those bumps on the shoulder) and she only hit 1 pole in a campground. He must be a Saint!

I was thinking more like an Air Force Base or Bonniville Salt Flats or something in that size range.

and while she is at the Salt Flats maybe she'll set the land speed record for a motor home and trailer, going in reverse!

Have you seen how many (and how solid) all those big light post standards are spread all over the place? LOL At least in the stadiums around here!

That is COOL!

All kidding aside, that's admirable that you have taken on the task of chauffeur and I hope I get to wave at you going down the road!

If I see you I will ' For sure! I'm dreaming of a MH. I keep telling myself a 38 ft wouldn't be any longer than the combo we have now, just taller! Probably easier to back and park, but of course does not bend in the middle. Maybe someday. Two more trips planned this fall, then hopefully a 2 month trip to Maritimes and Nfld next year. Lots of fun planning it this winter

If you are maneuvering a truck and trailer everywhere, then you would be fine with an RV. You already know how to use mirrors!

We like camping in the Provincial Parks and those sites are always tight. Even if we are able to get a pull through site there is always a darn tree in the way someplace in the turning radius! Don't see many MH. I sometimes wonder how they get some of the fivers in there, as there are lots of those! I have learned not to hyperventilate. I get my exercise jumping in and out of the truck to look 50 times DH who does have some central vision gets to

LOL Funny you mention that. My step son totaled his car by side swiping one of those poles up in Alaska. LOL Of course a minor finder bender in Alaska will total almost any car... everything costs so much up there.

Besides... those poles are "stand ins" for trees.
