Backing Up

Last weekend we went to the lake to camp and fish, taking our 17' bayliner behing the Class A. Weekend went pretty well and it was time to leave. the Son and I were out fishing in the boat while DW was packing up the MH. I call her on the radio and let her know we are on our way to the boat ramp. She offered to drive the rig over with the trailer and pick us up. I said sure, then had to help her back down the boat ramp. What was I thinkin'???...

I know this one!

You were thinkin':

"I'm sure glad I have a wife that breaks camp all by herself while I go fishing and then tops it off by saving me the walk from the boat ramp!"

Is there a prize for getting it right?

Does she clean fish also or did you not get any. She will probably have to go and catch the fish also. You can always get another mh but not another wife like that. I would say keep her and keep draining the mh. LOL. Jeffp

LOL! You all are too funny. It turned out fine, I thought she did great, but she did not like it all. I couldn't hear what she was saying, but our dog was shaking like a leaf when I got back in ( he is a little sensitive to rough language, LOL). It is tough to back our small trailer, can't see it at all in the mirrors until it is turned quite a bit, not what you want when on the boat ramp.
She likes to fish, and really does good at catching them, but she won't touch the bait, the fish, or cook them. That is up to us guys in the family. And I am fine with that, as long as she keeps going with us and having fun! She was just tired from hiking and geocaching all morning. I was surprised when she offered to drive the rig to the boat ramp, she doesn't normally volunteer to drive when we have a trailer. She is definitely a keeper!
Thanks for the fun comments.

OH MAN You were supposed to KNOW when to say "No Sweetie but thank you. You have worked so hard today, I'll be right there to help break camp"...'er something like that - to prove you are a keeper too.

Women will say the darndest things and it's up to their partners to know what they are really saying

I did not know that we had to be able to Understand what our wives are talking about when out of the blue mine asked (were was it you went to dinner) after asking a FEW pointed questions, i found out that she wanted to know the name of the High Class place i took Middle School Kids on a Field trip when i was a School Bus driver 7 YEARS AGO.

Alright fellas. The best thing to do with your ladies is to find a huge empty parking lot and have her practice. I plan on doing this myself eventually.
