Look at the definition of satire. What is really scary is anyone reading this believes it is real.

X2

Read this page from the website posting the article it explains the the show.

Seems like some here truly believe that if you read it on the internet it has to be true.

If anyone remembers, we had a US House member who questioned the military because they wanted to increase there presence on an island and he was worried that all that "weight" would tip the island over and everyone would drown.
Yes it actually happened in a government hearing.

Very true, but that was a congressman - ignorance much more believable on c-span.

It is obvious who reads entire thread prior to posting and those that just post.

No wonder rumors run rampant and become 'real'

Reminds me of the old game we played with large group of boys/girls........TELEPHONE

(1st person whispers short story into next persons ear............last person tells what story was. NEVER is it even close to actual story)

Three Reasons.....
1. Canadians are not used to larger highways containing more than one lane in either direction.
2. Americans drive at a more conservative speed..ie....65mph.
Canadians drive at 110. When it was pointed out to him that 110kph was equal to 65mph he said that by itself would be a problem because Canadians would not be paying attention if they were constantly trying to convert.
3. Canadians drive on the wrong side of the road. When pointed out that both countries are the same, he talked off mike to someone else and asked if that was true. The person said that Canada is British and of course they drive on the wrong side.

The question was then asked if Americans would have the same problems in Canada. He replied that Americans learn faster and would have no problem.

Lets watch to see when this new bill will come out.

I really hope this is not someone that actually has a hand in making laws.

We, as Canadians, welcome ALL Americans, whether you can drive on the wrong side of the road or not.
You haven't figured out yet that 90% of what the CBC says is BS?

We have some politicians that are real winners.

Like the one running for President that says removing the firing pin will make all weapons fully automatic.

Boy...posting something that is quite light-hearted and obviously a farce
sure brings out the best in people.

I thought that by adding the comment on the bottom with a smile would
be a hint that we all need to laugh a little bit more.

Maybe this should have just been posted in the "humor" section.

I'm still laughing, because that is exactly what those guys on the radio set out to do.

After driving many thousands of miles in Canada on a Western Canada/Alaska road trip I got too really like Canadian drivers. I was in no hurry and generally drove the speed limit. With that type of driving in the US one generally collects hemorrhoids (my name for tailgaters). What’s really aggravating is that often, even though they’re in a hurry, they won’t pass they’d prefer to follow you a foot or two off your bumper! The Canadian drivers know how to drive on two lane highways and I didn’t have that problem in Canada.

I have a clean driving record. However, the only thing that bothered me about traveling in Canada is their zero tolerance for people with a single past DUI on their driving record. Even if it’d happened 20-30 years ago and you’ve had a perfect driving record since you’re not getting in. I guess they feel that no one in the US can learn from their past mistakes and make corrections to their behavior. It just seems overly self-righteous to me. I hope that our border crossing rules aren’t so unforgiving, but I imagine they are.

Geo - DUI is a felony in Canada. Don't quote me but I think you can apply for an exemption but it has to be done before you get to the border.

Was going through the border one time and the question was have you ever been arrested. The answer given was no (they had been arrested but it was never prosecuted). The border agent refused them access because they had lied. They had to go through a huge procedure and expense to get the restriction removed.

I guess each country can make the rules for admission they want. To us mere mortals it does not make sense and possibly never will.

People People your as bad as the so called interview.

"just talk about the issues, it fabricates them"

It's a talk show!!!!

Looks to be a Canadian talk show, now I'm bad for not looking further, from the other Views, poking a bit of fun at us Americans who are uneducated and live in a cave.
