Being a senior citizen

The Girl Across The Street

She's single... She lives right across the street. I can see her place
from my kitchen window. I watched as she got home from work this evening. I
was surprised when she walked across the street, up my driveway and knocked
on the door.

I opened the door, she looked at me and said, "I just got home, and I have
this strong urge to have a good time, dance, get drunk, and get wasted
tonight. Are you doing anything?"

I quickly replied, "Nope, I'm free!"
"Great," she said. "Can you watch my dog?"

Being a senior citizen really sucks!

Though being a Senior does have it's positive side.. now I'm in a park with 24 sites.. So far I've told two of our "Residents" that if they visit the customer Service counter at our local Supermarket and hand them their Driver's license and customer loyality card, 5% off on Wed.. Several other stores give discounts.. As much as 15 to 25 percent. Denny's (If you are an AARP member) you can join AARP in your 50's, I could go on but the AARP web site does. and I don't have to type it. .

Oh, and COE and Forest Service parks give me half off!!!! (With discount card that cost me 10 bucks).

That joke reminds me of my last assignment. My team mate was a good looking woman and we spent a lot of time together. At the close of the assignment we were saying our goodbyes and she said "I like working with older men, they don't hit on me as much as the younger ones do"!

Being a senior citizen really sucks!
