I'll wager you don't even have one for graduating out of SAND BOX.

Did they have graduation certificates back in the '20's or '30's?

I went to a one room country school for a couple of years. There was one (only) French speaking family in the valley. Knowing that his son would need to know English in order to succeed in school, the father arranged to have his son do first grade twice as we had no kindergarten. (My mom was the only other French speaker in the valley .)

At the end of the first day of school Mom was called upon to explain to the student's parents that it was not permissible to bring wine in a thermos to school in California.

I went to a one room school house k through 4. Same teacher taught all classes. Classes divided by rows. There were two Roberts in the fourth grade The other Robert went to West Point. This Robert, well, four grade isn't bad.

By the way, do you have a kindergarten graduation certificate? I understand that they give them out to those in the North that have graduated kindergarten in less than 3 tries.
I hear in Texas you automatically get Grade 6 by repeating Grade 3 twice.

Guzintas and divideys ARE the same but around here, we had to learn guzintas and kumzatas. Kumzatas are much more useful than timezes.
