Do you know how many Reindeer Santa Claus has?

Now with Christmas upon us Do you know how many Reindeer Santa Claus has?

From 1823 poem by Clement C. Moore "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (also known as "The Night Before Christmas" or "'Twas the Night Before Christmas") he listed eight reindeer by name they are, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen.

Gene Autry sang a song “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” Rudolph became the ninth Reindeer.

But if you listen to the song he also mentions the 10th reindeer by name.

Think about it!

Here is the Answer I hope you are ready for this. The Reindeer’s name is Olive. The verse of the song goes like this.

“Olive the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names they never let poor Rudolph play in any reindeer games”

Olive is not mentioned much because she was green with envy. Santa thought she was the pits.

There was an argument between tourist visiting Russia when their guide Rudolph commented on the rain that was falling.
The husband insisted it was sleet.
But his wife insisted "Rudolph the red knows rain dear".

If you didn't add the brandy, why would you drink the egg nog? That just doesn't make any sense at all!

Somebody has way too much time on they hands (with or without the egg nog or brandy) to envision "OLIVE" from "all of the", but it was very interesting non-the-less.

Thanks for the humor and the laugh, Merry Christmas.
