Don't step on a duck!

So three women die and go to heaven. As they pass through the pearly gates, Saint Peter says "Ladies, we only have one rule in heaven - don't step on a duck."

Weird, they all think - until they turn a corner and find a sea of ducks covering the ground. One woman steps on a duck right away and, without saying a word, Saint Peter shackles her to the ugliest man they've ever seen.

The remaining two women stand completely still, unsure what to do... until one of them finally turns to look around and bam, she steps on a duck. Again, Saint Peter silently shows up with a bug-eyed, balding, pot-bellied man and shackles them together.

Hell with this, thinks the last woman to herself, and she shoos aside enough ducks to sit down on the ground. After a little while the ducks clear enough and she stretches out her legs, and a little while later she lays all the way on her back and stares up into the clouds.

Well, I guess it's not SO bad, she thinks. The ducks are happily quacking, there's beautiful scenery everywhere, the ground is soft and warm... so she takes a nap.

When she wakes, Saint Peter is peering down at her. He helps her to her feet, and without saying a word he shackles her to the most wonderful man she's ever seen. Blue eyes, perfect hair, broad shoulders, abs of steel - the works! She's stunned.

They stand in bewildered silence for a minute before the woman tucks a lock of hair behind her ear and, with a sheepish grin, says "I don't understand. What could I possibly have done to deserve this?"

The man says "I'm as confused as you are. All I did was step on a duck."
