Father Gives Advice To His Future Son-iIn--Law

Phillip I want to tell you a story
Once upon a time there was a father, and if you haven't figured that out it's me...
The father had a wonderful little boy, he was very happy
Then he found out his wife was gonna have another baby....
So I prayed "Lord if's your will make it a little girl, And he did.
I was the first person to hold her in my arms
And I looked at her & said make her like her mother, and he did
She was loving, giving, so good and so kind
Then I realized I was getting left out
So I said Lord make her like me, and he did
She can drive a tractor and a truck, she could load hay and chew tobacco..
Do you realize what you're getting ?
But at the same time she was opiniated, emotional and hard headed.
So I said Lord that's enough of that, make her like you
He gave her the desire to save people, she loves people
She gave her life to being a nurse
She brought people back to life from the dead
She would hold the hand of people who had breathed their last breath
He gave her a heart for missions and she's tracked all over the world
Pushed canoes up swollen rivers, laid on the floor while bullets whiz zed outside
So she could tell people about Jesus
But she was still missing something,so I said Lord Make Her Happy and she met you
You see that look on her face? I never saw I never saw that before she met. You and I'm grateful for that
Today I'm going to give you the best thing I have to give
L just wanted you to know how hard me & God have worked to get her ready
So Philip I give her to you, I'm giving you the best I have to give
I just wanted you to know just how hard me & God have worked to get her ready, so I give her to you."...
I don't think you would mind just one more piece of advice...
Me & God have worked hard.....
DON'T SCREW IT UP".."......................""..."""..

My advice: re my daughter's beaus: You break her heart, I break yours.

Actually... Turned out I did not have to break Husband 1.0's.. She did a downright good job of that herself.

Husband 2.0.. I do not think any hearts will be broken at least not for the next 18 years or so and .. Well it won't be hers, and it won't be his. (She is With Child and it will be his or her suitors who have their hearts broken).
Home is where I park it!
