Fisherman's funeral

A different point of view for a sad event, but not an unhappy ending.
A cool way to take a fisherman's casket to the cemetery.

A funeral procession pulled into a cemetery. Several carloads of family members followed a black truck towing a boat with a coffin in it.
A passer-by remarked, "That guy must have been a very avid fisherman."

"Oh, he still is, remarked one of the mourners. As a matter of fact, he's headed off to the lake as soon as we bury his wife."

Reminds me of the story about the man at the baseball game beside the empty seat.
Someone asks if he can sit there. Man says "Go Ahead, that's my wife's seat and she won't be needing it".

Guest (Since he is sitting in the wife's seat he is now a guest) asks why she won't be using it.. The man replies "She died"

Well did you try to get one of her friends to use it.
"I tried but they are all at the funeral".

Bob comes home after a golf game with Fred, upon arriving at home Bob's wife asked "how was the golf game"?. Bob replied " Not great"! Oh replies wife. Bob replies back - Fred died on the second whole and all day it was hit the ball and drag Fred, hit the ball and drag Fred...

Only a golfer can appreciate this...

TRUE STORY

We got married on a beautiful day in May. About the 8th person through the receiving line was my new father-in-law's brother. He said to my father-in-law, "I'm going fishing". The ONLY picture of him we have from that day was walking Debbie down the aisle!!

Then there is the man who was sitting next to the empty seat at the ball park.. Someone with a very bad seat noticed the empty and ask about it. The man said "Go ahead and sit there, It's paid for and the ticket holder won't be using it"

Well he ask about that. My wife died recently and that was her seat.
I'm sorry to hear that, Couldn't you get a friend or someone to take the seat?
No, they are all at the funeral.

I had a close friend die suddenly a couple of years ago, he had his funeral planned out to the last detail several years prior "just incase" including haing his casket being brought to the cemetary on the back of the old Chevy truck he had restored.

I tried, no idea why it won't show right, it's fine looking at it on the iPad.
