Fishing trip

Two city slickers who had never been deep sea fishing decided to go on a fishing trip.
They rented all the equipment - the reels, the rods, the wading suits, the boat, the car, and even a cabin in the woods. I mean they spend a fortune!
The first day they went fishing, but they don't catch anything.
The same thing happened on the second day, and on the third day.
It went on like that until finally, on the last day of their vacation, one of the men caught a fish.
As they're driving home they're really depressed.
One guy turned to the other and said, "Do you realize that this one lousy fish we caught cost us fifteen hundred bucks?"
The other guy said, "Wow! Then it's a good thing we didn't catch any more!"

The Republicans and the Democrats had a fishing contest.

On the first day the Republicans caught 4 fish and the Democrats didn’t catch any

On the second day the GOP caught 6 fish, the Dems 0

On the third day the GOP caught 10 fish, the Dems again 0

On the fourth day the Dems accused the Republications of cheating because they cut a hole in the ice and demanded the FBI investigate.
