- Yesterday, I had a flat tire on the interstate. So I
eased my car off the road and over to the shoulder, and
carefully got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took
out my two cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them up at
the rear of my car facing the oncoming traffic. They looked
so lifelike you wouldn't believe it! They were in
pulled-open trench coats and were exposing their nude bodies
to the approaching drivers.
To my surprise, cars started slowing down as the drivers
gaped at my lifelike men. And, of course, traffic started
backing up. Everybody was tooting their horns and waving
like crazy.
It wasn't long before a state trooper pulled up
behind me. He got out of his car and started walking toward
me. I could tell he was not a happy camper! "What's
going on here?" he asked angrily.
"My car has a flat tire," I said calmly.
"Well, what are those obscene cardboard men doing
here by the road?"
I couldn't believe that he didn't know! So I had
to tell him, "Hellooooo, those are my emergency
flashers!

You wouldn't be blonde would you? My youngest daughter is quite blonde, and she collects these jokes. Her favorite_ Do you know why blonde jokes are short? So brunettes can understand them.

I was watching a TV show the other night, Almost forgot the show, a Re-Run of Mr. Ed. Well the record producer's secretary was an absolute classical "Dumb Blond" However as Wilbur was leaving there was a very nasty customer at her desk, And still playing the roll of a dumb blond to the hilt she got him to leave without any damage.
She was dumb all right.. Dumb like a FOX. She was the kind of blond who, if you played power with her would have ask some very stupid questions about a very poor hand.. Than when you finally got around to calling, Sure as the devil you had her nothing hand beat 7 ways to Hoyle.. She lays down 4 aces and a King

Personally, I think the "Flashers" are probably better for slowing down traffic (making it safer to change that tire) than those reflcting triangles or flares!!
