This would be cute to pull behind a Class A for when the mother-in-law visits.

Hahahaha! Those videos were fantastic! The VW beetle hitch blew my mind and the motorcycle trailer video had me rolling.

Be right back, I'm going to go and find a cow to transport.

Thanks for the laughs!

Couple years back there was a short clip on a news show of a fifth wheel hooked up to a Jeep or a Ford Explorer with some sort of pedestal hookup similar to that VW setup, does anyone remember seeing that clip?? I can't find anything about it anywhere and I'm starting to think maybe it was all in a weird dream.

The beetle was awesome. But, those cars hardly had enough power to pull themselves much less a trailer.

Here's a good view inside and out of a Toyota pickup truck modified by Gulfstream.

I've been looking for information on that trailer. If I remember right, it was called "Shadow". My BIL was going to buy one in the early 70's but couldn't locate a dealer. It was not just for the Beetle. I According to the brochure, it could be towed by a full size car. All I need now is proof that it could.

The VW was used to show that they could actually turn the car around while hooked to the trailer. Yes, is was called a Shadow and they were from teh early 70s. Someone in St. Clair Shores, MI. did own one that I saw in person.

You can also Google Shadow RV Harmon Industries for results.

I was still using a VW Camper; couldn't afford a fancy Shadow...
