We all laugh about the "but it's a dry heat" statement. I spent 18 months in Kuwait in 2007-08, and had a few 130 degree days and, yes, it was a dry heat. I have to say, though, I was more comfortable in 110-120 degree dry heat in Kuwait than I am in Virginia. 95 degrees and 70 percent humidity is downright miserable, IMHO. At least the sweat was immediately sucked off my body in KU LOL

We had a HOT weekend west of Houston...mid to high 90's. Got home and waited until later to empty the RV....It was 100 degF here. This is not the Houston I grew up in.

I feel so bad. We are in Carlsbad, CA and it's 65-71 degrees in the day time, and high 50's to 60 during the night.

It's tough, can't wait to get back to the Texas heat. NOT.

That's why it's better to FROM Texas instead on IN Texas at this time of year.

I was just thinking....they must have been a pretty adventurous couple. One has a tie and one has a scarf, both have hats, but that's all I see. Hahaha

95 in Cedaredge, Colorado with 11% humidity. We have outlawed hob-nailed boots in Colorado be cause they might strike a spark. This is the worst fire danger I've ever seen in 50 years here. It has not rained in over a month on the western slope.

OFFICIAL: Coldest June in Denmark for 11 years. Today is one of the better days - we are peaking at 64F. Also the wettest month for the past 10 years.

Hal - take 20 off yours and ship it over here, and we will all be happy.

Henrick, I wish we could share some warmth with you.

My Sister in Law lives out side of Bolder and the humidity yesterday was 4%, before the fire started. Spoke with her last night and they were waiting to see if they had to evacuate. They had the important things packed and ready to load.
