One day, Kermit the Frog goes into the bank for a home improvement loan. He steps up to the teller, and explains what he's there for. She tells him that he'll have to see their loan officer, Miss Whack. Her first name was Patty.

Well, Kermit goes over to Miss Whack, and tells her that he needs a loan. She asks what he needs a loan for, and he explains it's for home improvement. Then she asks how much he needs. He tells her $ 30,000.00 should do it. She asks Kermit what he has for collateral. He says that his father is Mick Jagger. Of course, Miss Whack doesn't believe him, but tries to explain that collateral is something you offer to the bank to cover your loan, incase you default on the loan, it's not a person. So Kermit reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a little pink, ceramic elephant. It's the most beautiful little pink elephant that Miss Whack had ever seen. She tells Kermit that it was the most beautiful pink elephant she'd ever seen, but she didn't think it was worth anywhere near $ 30,000.

Well Kermit asked where the Bank Manager was. So Miss Whack points to his door. Kermit says that he thinks the Bank Manager will see things differently, and asks her to take the elephant to him.

Well Miss Whack goes to the Bank Manager, and tells him that Kermit wants a $ 30,000 home improvement loan. Then she shows the Bank Manager the little elephant, and explains that Kermit was offering this elephant up as collateral. She says, "I don't even know what this is."¯

So the Bank Manager says......

"It's a nick-nack Patty Whack, give the frog a loan, his old man's a Rolling Stone."¯
