Law enforcement::::::

A police officer called into his the station on his radio.

"I have an interesting case here. An old lady shot her husband for stepping on the floor she just mopped."

"Have you arrested the woman?"

"Not yet. The floor's still wet."

Smart Cop would be my response too... When I was young my mother was put on total bed rest.. As the oldest of 4 Kids, the youngest of which has serious dust and mold allergies I got the job of moping, waxing, cooking, dish-washing, laundry and such.

If you walked on my fresh mopped floors.... Well let's just say if I was on her jury she'd get off with "Justifiable" vedrdict.

Side effect of learning how to be a "housewife" is that when I graduated school I knew how to cook, clean, mend, sew, wash, wax and such... So i did not have to get married or starve.. Took me a full decade to find the right wife and we were together 34.5 years before she lost control of a used jeep we'd just bought and found a tree at 50MPH. Meanwhile most of my classmates are on wife #2 or #3 or more.
Home is where I park it!
