*tried to post this yesterday but my computer ate it when I had the 'post now' button*
Got back Sunday from a 4 day trip to South Georgia. Was vacuuming and cleaning the coach as I always do after a trip to the sandy soil country. This coach has central vacuum and we have never had that before. Well I am doing my thing and getting rid of the sand. As I got back near the bathroom/toilet area I opened the door to vacuum up the small pieces of styrofoam that still continue to blow from the vent there. The toilet paper was hanging near the floor - you know the high dollar RV stuff that is very loose on the roll. Anyway this Dirt Devil central vac is a powerful little creature and as I pushed the attachment up near the wall, that thing grabbed the TP and it was off to the races. I snatched it back, but that only made the roll spin faster. This thing was spinning and humming like a turbine then all of a sudden it stopped !! Nothing but a slight suction on the end of the hose. Now I am a graduate of the local consolidated high school and figured out right away the hose was stopped up. Snatched the hose out of the wall expecting to see the paper in it. Not! Had to be in the cannister right? Opened that thing up and pulled out the back. A piece of paper about two feet long was all I could find. Gotta be in the pipe from the inlet upstairs to the cannister in the basement. Poking and jabbing with wire does no good. I turn the thing back on, expecting to pull the cap off the cannister and poke from the other end. Can't get it off. Those bowling ball commercials are not a trick - these things really do suck!!
So the motor is whining and the pipe is jumping like a spastic grasshopper. All of sudden there is this 'whump' sound and the pipe stops jumping and the motor sounds natural again.
I turn the thing off and open the cap. There is a huge ball of paper in the cannister that this thing has vomitted up !!

I finished my inside cleaning the NEXT day!
