Lost $1,041.95 at the Sewer Dump

Ran across this again today. One of the now classic RV stories for the way it is told:

Now THAT's funny!

I sure hope it's an urban legend because it's hard to imagine what it would take for me to continue to use those teeth even if the screen had caught them.

There was a guy I used to work with, got drunk and threw up at his house, teethe came out and were stuck in the toilet, he got a hammer out and busted his toilet. I told him oh I couldn't ever put them in my mouth and he said it was either $1500 for new teethe or 50 bucks for a new toilet

Had a friend who when in the Military had a very expensive recapping done on one of his front tooth before retiring. After he left the Military, he was between job and had no dental insurance (Canada). When chomping on some meat, the cap came loose and he realized too late that the tooth had gone down with the meat!

Took his wife with a seeve three days of "gold mining" through his "by products" to find it!

As quoted above it was either that or a very expensive full replacement job instead of just a repair.

Just hit me how it was her, not him: "Honey, just too expensive and just not important. Lot's of guys out there missing a tooth or two . . . " (Ha!!)

Back when myself, my two brothers and two sisters were children one of us had done something wrong. As was my father's style, he lined us all up in the kitchen, bound and determined to get to the bottom of things. While in the middle of giving us the tongue lashing of our young lives his top plate flew out of his mouth and he caught it deftly in mid air. As you can well imagine, the five of us are now laughing hysterically, my mother could not contain herself and had to leave the room. My poor father realizing that he had totally lost control of the moment, not to mention his dignity, just disappeared into the living room and turned on the TV. My mother told us that it would probably be a good idea if we all just went outside to play. The incident was never again brought up in his presence, but every so often when the five of us get together it still makes for a great story.
