Marine Down

A retired Marine (RV'r) and his wife are shopping in their local Wal-Mart. The Marine picks up a case of Budweiser and puts it in their cart.

“What do you think you're doing?” asks the wife.

“They're on sale, only $10 for 24 cans” he replies.

“Put them back, we can't afford them” demands the wife, and so they carry on shopping.

A few aisles further on along the woman picks up a $20 jar of face cream and puts it in the basket.

“What do you think you're doing?” asks the Marine.

“It’s my face cream. It makes me look beautiful,” replies the wife.

Her husband retorts: “So does 24 cans of Budweiser and it's half the price.”

He never knew what hit him.

Was told that maybe another retire Marine poster here might have been the aformentioned Marine and this incident led to his arm being in a sling for some time thereafter.

Just saying.................

If you read the thread "Then And Now," you will know it wasn't me.

I have a plaque in the house. It states:

"I am master of this house.
Whatever my wife wishes
shall be done."

Besides, I could most likely use some of that face cream, huh Seajay?

Wid all respect Wayne, I 'spect face cream would not do us much good unless we could put it on maybe an inch thick and let it dry in place. Everyone knows that even ''paint on an outhouse helps''.....lol....

Furthermore, I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT I WAS IN CHARGE WHILE MY WILLA WAS GONE ON HER CRUISE. I was ''THE MAN'', the H.M.F.I.C., the BIG DOG CHIEF OF THE BOAT, the B.B.M.I.C. and the chief cook and bottle washer and what ever I said was LAW and our puppies gave me NO JUNK because I was TOP DOG IN THIS PACK.
She is home now and I take out the garbage when told and she lets me ''pilot the boat'' when she wants to go fishing.

Stay safe my friends and may God bless our troops and keep them safe.

I was laughing by the second sentence. She just said EXACTLY that to me last week when she caught me with a tape measure in my hand in the MH. NO lie.
