Motorcyclist

A Little 10-year-old girl was walking home, alone, from school one day, when a big man on a black motorcycle pulls up beside her. After following along for a while, turns to her and asks,
"Hey there little girl, do you want to go for a ride?"
"NO!" says the little girl as she keeps on walking.
The motorcyclist again pulls up beside her and asks,
"Hey little girl, I will give you $10 if you hop on the back."
"NO!" says the little girl again as she hurries down the street.
The motorcyclist pulls up beside the little girl again and says,
"Okay kid, my last offer! I'll give you 20 Bucks "and" a Big Bag of Candy if you will just hop on the back of my bike and we will go for a ride."
Finally, the little girl stops and turns towards him and Screams Out...
"Look Dad" "You're the one who bought the Honda instead of the Harley ...YOU RIDE IT!!"

Nice...and by the way...I've had a Harley since 2006 and haven't had a drop of oil on the floor, ever!

Harley

I've had about twenty bikes - Honda, Moto Guzzi, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and three Harley's and others. Even though I had three Harley's I did not wear the uniform - you know, wallet with a chain, bandana, etc., I wear a helmet and I rode alone and not in a pack. I did like the Harley Low Rider I had and wanted another one. Harley quit making the Low Rider so I shopped around and bought a BMW. The next week Harley came out with the Low Rider again after a five year hiatus. I rode my new BMW to the Harley dealer interested in trading for the bike I had wanted. I went on a test ride and was amazed at how much better the BMW was and rode my Nine T away and thankful I had not bought in to the Harley club. My neighbors have Harleys and I have been to pick up every one of them with a trailer.

Only those whose owners believe they MUST add loud pipes to improve their ego. OTOH, I bought a motorcycle to ride...not a sewing machine.

The only way to own a Harley and not have oil on the floor is to park it on newspapers.

As a former Norton engineer, the only bikes I'd consider (other than a restored Commando) are a BMW or a Honda CX500 Turbo. At 73, it's an academic discussion!

harley noise

By the way, on all my three Harleys I kept the stock pipes which are very reasonably quiet. I don't need the "hey, look at me" pipes. People make up rhetoric to justify their actions when they say "loud pipes save lives" which is b...s...

I see Harley owners taking their bikes out for rides all the time. Usually with it riding in the back of a truck or on a trailer.

Each and every bike is good, as long as you ride it!
