Sure wish tests in school were as easy as this test. I guess 25 of 25 means I get a "A+" Heck I even remember our party line phone # when growing up "PA10914"

25 of 25. It made me think of a few others, too. One in particular a lot of you other OTDers have no doubt used is the starter on the floor where you had to have half your right foot on the starter and the other half on the accelerator and press them both to get the car started. We were multitasking when the word hadn't even been invented yet.

Same for Wednesday nights where I grew up and all the businesses in town closed at noon on Wednesday so people could go home, get chores done, eat dinner, and be ready to go to Wednesday night prayer meeting. Schools could not have extracurricular activities on Wednesday night, either.

I remember my starter being a crank handle through the front bumper.

I never had a car with the crank handle, but knew people who did. Our tractors had them in case the battery wouldn't turn them over. When you had to use the crank to start it, it was important to hold the crank handle correctly or it could kick back and break your arm. 😭

I have a front license plate with a hole cut in it to allow for the engine crank handle. It's really old!!! LOL.
