Hey Jimmy, you have the cat/bread attached to an engine driven generator...not jsut a generator.

Do you have some sort of an over run clutch between the engine and generator.

I would think that cat/bread would overpower any resistance the engine would add.

This is the UPS version. The clutch between engine and generator only engages should the cat die or the butter melt. It then drives the generator until a replacement cat or fresh butter can be fitted with no break in service.

When you drive the generator, you make electricity so when you backdrive the motor, you must make gasoline. This is a revolutionary step toward energy independence.

OK. So I tried it. Didn't work.

This is what I ended up with.

I bet you didn't ground the cat! There is always a danger of static build up and grounding is a must. Get another cat and try again....
