I live on Long Island specifically the south shore. Its crowded, actually overcrowded. Driving in bumper to bumper traffic down a tight main artery in a car is enough to get you frazzled but its different in my coach or should I say "bus". Your up high and have a commanding view of whats up ahead.
http://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif I have this wide smile on as I navigate the streets heading home. Taking over 2 lanes if I need it and going slow if I have to.
As I approach a bus stop in town i see a person hysterically waving me down. I'm traveling around 15 MPH so Im going slow to see this person clearly and they see me. I approach the sign that says bus stop and its as if this person were ready to leap into the side of my coach. I continue on my way and then I see their expression of dismay that I didn't stop. It was at that moment I realized they thought I was a bus and couldn't understand why I didn't stop.
I should have stopped.
