The first color TV show I saw was Bonanza and its picture quality was fuzzy with bleached out colors. Today I can display and watch 3D holographic images and interact with virtual figures and objects through augmented reality.

I makes me wonder what my grand daughter will see throughout her lifetime.

It's totally mind-boggling to look at the changes just in our lifetimes!

A typical smart phone today has more computing power than was available to the entire Apollo moon landing program.

Yup, I LOVED RC Cola as a teenager! Some of my buddies challenged me to drink 5 of them without stopping and they would pay! I did it but I thought I was dying!

Thank you to the original posting on this comment and also the follow-up comments by the many members. I'm 54 and my children are 16, 14 and 9. We try to have conversations with them about the "new vs. old" ways of our lives and society in general. All good kids, but I tell you truthfully that I wonder what this country will be like in the sort term future. I'll add one comment myself ---> I grew up in Iowa and I guarantee you we didn't have restaurant menu's, cereal boxes or conversations by patrons at the local supermarket in Spanish!
