When I used to get the newspaper I always knew when I got the FAT paper, it was Sunday!
Now that I discontinued the paper (for reasons of sanity ), I have no idea of what day it is !!!

The video is a classic... I've been retired for four years now and everyday is Saturday.

We still get the paper, but my wife saves 'em, they get stacked up, so I still don't know what day it is.

I told my wife I was confused about the days of the week, she just looked at me and replied, "Does it matter... You've done your time worryin' over what day it was"

I "retired" in '98 at 51, but then went back to work till my wife can actually quit working! That means I still have to keep track of the days, and, because I work in a retirement center I have to tell the residents what day and date it is!!

They make a clock just for us seniors. It doesn't have any numbers on it, just the days of the week.

When I retired people told me every day would be Saturday, not true. The thing that makes it retirement is that there is never a Monday.

I know it is a weekend when I go to the store and there are crowds, of working people. I go home,

Geez, I want to trade places. Since I retired in March, it seems like every day is Monday.

On Monday, it is time to sort out the priorities, try to come up with a plan to solve them and arrive at the end of the day with little accomplished. Yep, mine are all Mondays.
