Three Linemen were working up on a power line tower: Clyde, Claude, & Steve.

As they start their descent Clyde slips,
falls off the tower and is killed instantly.
As the ambulance takes the body away,
Claude says, 'Well, dang, someone should go and tell his wife.'

Steve says, 'OK, I'm pretty good at sensitive stuff, I'll do it.

'Two hours later, he comes back carrying a case of Budweiser.

Claude says, 'Where did you get that beer, Steve?'

Clyde's wife gave it to me,' Steve replies.

'That's unbelievable, you told her that her husband was dead and she gave you a case of beer?'

'Well, not exactly', Steve says. 'When she answered the door, I said, "you must be Clyde's widow".

She said, 'You're mistaken, I'm not a widow.

Then I said, 'I'll bet you a case of Budweiser you are.'

As an ex-Lineman, I think I know Steve!
