there was 12000 cases of Mayonnaise on board the Titanic when she sailed on Her maiden voyage, it was going to Vera Cruse Mexico, the second port of call after New York. The Spanish people were very exited to get Mayonnaise in Jars as they could only make small amounts as needed, when there heard that the Titanic sank they were so upset they name a National day of Morning.
