Ok, but I'm still not going to quit complaining about getting only 7.5 mpg with my Bounder.

Not quite. The Russians have been working on a type of fox, Saw a special on it a couple of years ago. Below is what is on Wikipedia, though there is more on the web about this experiment.

The domesticated silver fox (marketed as the Siberian fox) is a domesticated form of the silver morph of the red fox. As a result of selective breeding, the new foxes became tamer and more dog-like.
The result of over 50 years of experiments in the Soviet Union and Russia, the breeding project was set up in 1959[1] by Soviet scientist Dmitri Belyaev. It continues today at The Institute of Cytology and Genetics at Novosibirsk, under the supervision of Lyudmila Trut. They also morph into different colors (such as white), in the breeding program.

The claim that the Canadian two dollar bill is an error continuously repeated. Prior to our Red and White Maple Leaf Flag we flew the Canadian Ensign which was given to Canada by one of the Royal majesties from Great Briton oh so long ago. It was a red flag base with the Union Jack in the top corner and the Canadian Coat of Arms in the middle. The flag was on our two dollar bill through its whole lifetime. When the Twoonie was produced (two dollar coin) the production of the paper bill was stopped.

At that rate, it would require 36,000,000 + gallons to sail from NYC to London!

QE2 retained her title of the fastest cruise ship afloat (28.5 knots[26]), with fuel economy at this speed[26] at 49.5 ft[27][28][29] (15m) to the gallon.[30] While cruising at slower speeds efficiency was improved to 125 ft per gallon.[26]
