And why do they put the "Deer Crossings" in such bad places?

How many times have you sat behind some doof playing with his cellphone at a traffic light and said "Green means go!!!"

My wife and I stopped behind a couple a few weeks back who had stopped at a stop light so far back they sensors wouldn't find the car. I finally passed them on the right and just turned right at the light. For all I know, they're still sitting there waiting for the light to change.
On the subject of "Stop ahead" signs, there's one on Hwy 16 eastbound going down into Clinton, Arkansas, that warns of a stop sign two miles ahead. That ones always made me wonder why.

The first part is a common occurrence in states where a certain substance has become legal. Also can create the sensation that the car is going 60mph when it is actually going 20mph. They may have thought is was a close call to stop before the intersection.
The yellow sign on SB I-5 before heading up the Grapevine used to read:
Avoid Over Heating turn off A/C
It has since been corrected.

Neighbor
We have a neighbor who lives alone. He came home last night, drunk. Started beating and banging on his own door for 20 minutes. I finally walked over and told him no one was home so he left.

That reminds me of an actual occurrence years ago: Myself and a friend attended Homecoming at UW-Madison. We were at friends apartment where the suds were flowing. A couple of guys came to the party and were somewhat shaken and confused. They were pulled over on the beltline (speed limit was 55 at the time I think) When the officer asked them "Do you know how fast you were going?" they replied "65?" The officer told them they were traveling 22mph and told them to move along with the traffic. I swear it's a true story. Happened back around the late 1970's

A deer crossing sign is actually a warning that deer will cross there rather than a place that has been designated for the deer to safely cross.
So you actually have the right of way and if the deer hits you it is liable for damages. Unfortunately, deer rarely plan for the future and almost never have any savings or insurance.

They were always excluded from Pboys top party college list as they were considered professionals.

In Ashland Oregon the deer use the crosswalks and some even wait for the walk sign. Im not joking. Really.

In NY, Braille is on the drive thru ATM's, I'm still trying to figure out how blind people drive, but then again some of the drivers I've seen...

I chuckle every time I go through this intersection...the sign actually reads "Stop on Red, Go on Green":

Maybe I'm a little crazy but I saw a speed hump sign. I thought "In public?"
