Stop ahead

Well look at it this way, when your driving in the middle of nowhere or the desert with your big RV then by getting that notice you or I have more time to use the exhaust or Jake brake to slow down vs your brakes. Even with that we still have fatal collisions at intersections out here in the Antelope Valley north of L.A.

Bell, I have thought for years we ought to save more because we are still short in winter...

Around here recently it just saved us an hour or rain.

The sign may be appropriate, given it’s proximity to the dealership pictured in the background.

Hmmm. I just measured my height and it is still winter until next Wednesday and I am not any shorter than I was last summer.
So why do folks get shorter in winter?

They may have a point. It really depends on what time you wake up.

If we have an extra hour of sunshine at the end of the day, don’t we also have an extra hour of darkness at the beginning? Is the day now 26 hours long? If so, that give us all more time to procrastinate.

Reminds me about the French Foreign Legionnaires who "accidentally" ran into and killed what was at the time declared by The Guinness Records as the most isolated tree in the world, located at a western Sahara Desert oasis. Perhaps they needed a sign, or maybe less Guinness.

People trend to measure their height in the evening during winter months. Studies have shown that we are up to 1/2” taller upon waking in the morning, unless it’s still dark outside, in which case more study is needed.

The investigation revealed that they were distracted while consulting a Dutch to French dictionary to determine the meaning of a sign that read “Waarschuw Boom Voor de Boeg”

Maybe it was a French poodle and it really needed a "potty break"

Stop ahead

How about the sign in Wisconsin that said
P P use center lane. What a relief.
