The Coolest Headstone Contest

A COWBOY TOMBSTONE:
Here are the Five Rules for Men to Follow for a Happy Life that Russell J. Larsen had inscribed on his headstone in Logan, Utah. He died not knowing that he would win the 'Coolest Headstone' contest.

FIVE RULES FOR MEN TO FOLLOW FOR A HAPPY LIFE:
1. It's important to have a woman who helps at home, cooks from time to time, cleans up, and has a job.
2. It's important to have a woman who can make you laugh.
3. It's important to have a woman who you can trust, and doesn't lie to you.
4. It's important to have a woman who is good in bed, and likes to be with you.
5. It's very, very important that these four women do not know each other or you could end up dead like me.

There are many places on the web that wrongly state this is what is on
Russell J Larsen's tombstone, in a Logen, UT cemetery.
Below are photos of what is ACTUALLY on his tombstone, front and back.
I like the actual writing better than the 5 rules.

It wasn't that good of a joke until I fixed it for you.....

Besides, I had to uphold the integrity of Russell's tombstone...

And those 5 rules are just a variation on an old Irish drinking 'toast'.

Are those rules where they coat his headstone with "processed" Irish Whiskey?

I always liked the epitaph attributed to W.C. Fields (who liked to deride Philidelphia in his jokes) - "All in all, I'd rather be in Philidelphia"

Two sisters buried side by side in a cemetery near home.

"I always told you this was going to happen!"

We have a 1935 Plymouth street rod and I built my wife a 35 foot lighthouse on our property. She collects miniature lighthouses. So this is what we had designed. Even though we live in the middle of. Washington state quite away fr ocean

Fields made a joke about putting a jab at Philadelphia on his tombstone
20 years before he died, in a magazine interview.
“Here lies W. C. Fields. I would rather be living in Philadelphia.”

There is no mention of Philadelphia on the plaque on his niche, he was
cremated and put in a wall.
