The Wife

A man and woman were married for many years. Whenever there was a confrontation, yelling could be heard deep into the night. The old man would shout, "When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!"

All the neighbors feared him.

The old man liked the fact that he was feared. Then one evening, at the age of 98 he died. After the burial, her neighbors, concerned for her safety, asked, "Aren't you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way out of the grave and haunt you for the rest of your life?"

The wife said, "Let him dig. I had him buried upside down...and I know he won't ask for directions."

Women are unique

.... Husbandís Message (by cellphone): Honey, a car has hit me in the office parking lot. Sorry I have to leave this message but they are busy stopping the bleeding, treating shock and stabilizing me........I hope to get this message done before I pass out. Paula brought me to the hospital. They have been taking tests and X-rays. The blow to my head was very hard, fortunately it seems that it may not have caused any serious injury, but I have three broken ribs, a compound fracture in the left leg, and they may have to amputate the right foot. I'm at St. Mary's hospital, can you come at once?

Wifeís Response: Who the HELL is Paula??
