Talking There actually is a dumb question!

Not RV but funny anyway. I am an Automotive teacher and was giving a short quiz on the board. One of the questions was a statement requiring a true or false answer( you know, T or F ) A young man raised his hand and asked "Mr. Hoak, Whats a torf? Needless to say it took some time to get back on task for all. :laugh

Could he have answered TorF for all questions and been correct?

He was just thinking out of the box.

My brother took a mechanics course once.

Question: A V-8 has how many clinders (A: 16)
How many valves (A-8)

Uh, suffice to say that student (NOT MY BROTHER) failed the course.

Brother passed, Heck, I'd pass, but not all do.
(I have worked as a small endine mechanic (One lung, Chain saw) and I've done overhauls on 4 bangers.. I would not care to do a modern computer controlled V-8 but odds are I could. Brother is now certified for both Diesel and gasoline bumper to bumper, but then he drove the big rigs most of his life.

Me, I worked the other side, Police dispatcher.
Home is where I park it!

A fellow campers DW was sitting in the drivers seat while parked and opened up the window and asked what drof stood for. The Ford steering wheel was turned upside down.
