They didn't have clothes on!
Well, the wife and I were looking for a site that would be close to where i work. Unfortunately, there aren't many to choose from. But, (and i use that loosely) there is one place about 20 miles up the road. Later to find out that it was a mistake, NOT TO RESEARCH BEFORE OUR VISIT, on a nice, sunny weekend, took a ride up to check er' out!
YIKES
Did we get an eye full! That's right, A NUDEST RV CAMPGROUND! As we pulled in, and after picking up our jaws,,,, I muddled to my wife,,,"why can't i look away?"
Never the less, It was our first EXPOSURE to an Rv site like this! And let me tell ya, we are NOT a naive couple it ANY sense, BUT THIS,,,,and THAT'S A HEAVY BUTT, this caught us off gaurd! We have never, in our travels come across one of these campgrounds!
I recently posted a thread about Volunteer work for comp. time at parks, and this was one of the first places we were searching! Looking for a place close to work, with a work to stay opportunity so i wouldn't have to make the long trip home every day,,,besides having a place to park the rig! It kinda hit many of the birds with one stone for us! Never the less,,,, wife didn't agree to this "FINE" opportunity!
Our question to you,,,,,
It sure would be a blast to hear if any of you have had experience with one of these RV CAMPGROUNDS?

Yep, there are a couple around here (also in Jax) that we go to regularly.
Makes camping just that much more enjoyable, but I can see where it would be a real shock if you weren't ready for it!
What town were you in?

I won't say it. I won't say it. I won't say it.
Ah, what the hell...bet it's a real easy going campground where you can just "hang loose". But you'd have to be watchful of the squirrels out gathering nuts.

Probably be cheaper in the long run...save a lot on washing your clothes.
Have to be careful tho, especially when grilling. Wouldn't want to throw the wrong weiner on the grill.

Sounds like fun. I wonder if there's a list somewhere to help find one or two.

Its not that you haven't seen it before!
With the plumbing problems faced in later years I am not sure I would be sitting in any communal chairs.

I worked for a musical group that was contracted to play Turtle Beach. We were told it was a "different" kind of resort place and that we were not expected to mimic the behaviors of the client.
I didn't carry enough sun screen for that to happen.
What I learned was that after awhile the novelty wears off and you don't find yourself looking below the neckline as often as you did upon arrival.
ps for Gordon - I also learned that "naked etiquette" says one carries a towel or similar item to sit on, no direct contact with chair or benches.
Nice folks, just unclothed.
