Yep we wound up with 2 different RVs that we did not have an intention to buy. One was a 1995 Avion 36.5' 5er and we did not even own a truck. We were at the dealer day dreaming and walked in to this 5er because it was hot outside and this was the only unit that had the A/C running. The wife fell in love with it. Now we had to sell the motorhome and find a truck.

The second one was just in the past few weeks. We found a 1989 34' Avion on Craigslist and went to look at it. We had just been discussing how we would like a larger trailer so we would have room for the grandson. We have a beautiful restored 1979 Silver Streak for sale now and are redecorating the Avion now.

So, yes I do think we are a little bit off-center to have an RV in the first place. Welcome to the group, you should fit in fine.

Just got back to So Cali, made it home without a hitch. Now that I have completed my 2500 mile shakedown cruise, I found a few things I want to update. I think it's ready for new shocks and I am going to look into a Banks stinger or similar intake/exhaust system.

I am so impressed that you were able to get all loaded up on such short notice. We have been hauling stuff in and out of our new fifth wheel for 2 1/2 months and we still aren't finished. Of course, this is for the purpose of fulltiming, which requires some thought. Don't want to forget anything!
Enjoy your travels.
